Globalization Partners, branded G-P, offers employer-of-record services for cross-border hiring. The practical question is which responsibilities a signed agreement assigns to the provider and which remain with the customer.
This updated guide explains the service model using G-P’s public documentation. It is not a hands-on service test or a finding that every employment arrangement is legally suitable.
What G-P says its EOR service does
G-P describes its service as enabling international hiring without customers opening a new local legal entity for each hire. Its materials describe employment administration covering payroll, benefits and local employment requirements. These are vendor descriptions, not independently measured performance results.
Questions to settle before signing
Ask for a country-specific written proposal. Identify the employing entity, salary currency, payment schedule, benefits, service fees and any funding deposit. Ask who handles employee questions and how urgent payroll errors are escalated. An advertised country footprint does not establish that every proposed role or arrangement is supported.
Separate the EOR from the operating business
Describe who selects employees, directs their daily work and approves compensation. Ask about intellectual-property terms, data access, termination processes and transfer options if the business later opens its own entity. Obtain qualified advice for the particular country and arrangement rather than treating a product description as a legal opinion.
A useful evaluation process
Compare written proposals using the same headcount, countries, start dates and compensation assumptions. Record the total recurring cost and one-off charges. Request a demonstration of the actual onboarding and payroll workflows and retain the service agreement, not only the sales presentation.
